Are you looking for a vegan and sustainable gift for Christmas 2020? I’ve compiled a list of over 30 ethical gifts for you!
While this holiday season will most likely be very different than what we are used to, that’s all the more reason to hold on to traditions.
Sending your loved ones a gift is a wonderful way to show you care about them, especially when you may not be able to hug or even see them for the holidays this year.
Here are some vegan and sustainable gifts to give this year to spread some joy during these trying times.

Wearable Gifts
Gifting clothing can be tricky. You have to know their size and some people can be very particular about the style and material they like to wear.
Still, if you know someone well, getting them an item to wear can be such a beautiful gesture!
These accessories are easy to buy for someone else since most of them are one-size.

Gifts For Kids
I love getting gifts for the kids in my family. There are so much incredibly cool kids-stuff out there! But it’s always a good idea to ask the parents if there’s anything the kids need or have been wanting for a while.
Here are some ideas for the smaller children in your life. As soon as they get bigger, I honestly almost exclusively get them books!
Organic Cotton
Rattle Dachshund

CamCam Copenhagen

Tender Leaf Toys
Readable Gifts
You can almost never go wrong with a book, if you ask me. If you don’t know someone’s taste in literature, a coffee table book or cook book is also a great option.

Selfcare Gifts
To say this year has been stressful is a bit of an understatement. So you can’t go wrong with giving someone you care for gifts that might help them care for themselves.

Gift Cards
While gift cards get a bad rep for being unpersonal, I really like giving and receiving them.
They’re perfect if you don’t know the recipient too well or they are very particular about their style. Pair them with a beautiful card and some heartfelt, handwritten lines and it can be a perfect personal gift!
You could also pair a gift card to a restaurant or café with a personal promise to take them out post-lock-down. That way they have something to look forward to AND you’re supporting local businesses while they might be closed. Check out my vegan city guides for ideas on which vegan-friendly places you could get gift cards from.
Here are some (online) shops I like, that either have a very wide selection or some extraordinary gifts.
